About the Woodworker

Hi!

I’m Chris Baughman, Owner and Operator of Declassified Woodworks; a Custom Woodworking Company located in Henderson, Nevada. I want to take a moment to share a little bit about myself, who I am, and why Declassified Woodworks was founded.

I believe one of the most important things to know about me is that I hold myself to the highest standards. You’re seeking quality and I’m definitely the one that will deliver. If it’s beyond my shop’s ability, trust I’ll be up front with you as I turn down the opportunity to have you as a client.

I’ve always taken pride in my work. As a teenager, I worked in both commercial construction and a factory. In both instances, I learned skills from various crafts and the value of quality work. Upon graduating High School, I enlisted in the military because like others before me, I felt a strong sense of duty to my country.

After eight years of service, I was honorably discharged. I attended and graduated college with a Bachelor of Science, and worked my way up the ladder to become a Senior Systems Analyst. No matter the title I held or the job I had in the past, all of it reinforced the importance of maintaining integrity, sharpening my skills, and continuously producing quality results.

I founded Declassified Woodworks in 2020 because it was time for me to take all of my experiences and apply them towards what I knew to be my true passion - craftsmanship. As I said in the beginning, I deliver quality and it’s due to my personal high standards. That is who I am; and by extension, that is what Declassified Woodworks represents - Honest, Quality Craftsmanship.
